I am getting compiler errors with GCC.

This is most commonly caused by two problems. First, make sure when you unzip the source distribution archive, you use the -a option to auto-convert text file line endings. Second, you need to use a version of GCC that is supported by Crypto++. Please see (Xref) What are the supported compilers and platforms?
